About Misty Salalah (4 Nights 5Days)
Day 01 : Meet & Greet on Salalah Airport and transfer to the service apartment and Overnight
Day 02: Full day East Salalah Tour
After breakfast we start the tour and your first destination is Taqa Beach and visit to the Taqa Castle in the East. Later on visit to the impressive ruins at Sumhurum give insight into architecture and living conditions of a time more than 2000 years ago. The adjoining port of KhawrRhori was an important trade center and the main port for the export of frankincense.The next is Mirbat-Just before Mirbat you reach Bin Ali's Tomb and the anti-gravity area. Later we visit Mirbat, the old capital of Dhofar is known for its old merchant houses, built in traditional ancient Omani architecture.By evening 4pm end of the tour and back to service apartment for overnight
Day 03 : West Salalah Tour with farm visit
After breakfast drive through lush green plantations and you will visit Natural farm: This 350 year old farm is vegetative and you can see various fruits and vegetable farming cultivation in progress during your visit. The Guest will start the visit with a presentation about the types of the fruits and vegetables by an Omani guide, then making a small round in the farm and taking photos.Take a short trek through the coconut plantation. Enjoy a cool, tender coconut water drink with some fresh bananas direct from the farm. Later on we move to see Natural Blow Holes of West, located along the beach of Mughsail where the white sand touches the deep blue of the Indian Ocean.Mughsail is proud of its idyllic and attractive Beaches in Dhofar and its spectacular ‘Blow Holes ‘the water fountains. A drive along the Zig- ZagRoad' with its breathtaking cliffs on either side and the Job’s Tomb and will pass by scattered frankincense trees.By afternoon 5 pm end of the tour and back to service apartment.
Day 4: Full day Mountain & Wadi Darbat
After the breakfast we start to Jabal Samhan, the mountain range of Jebel Samhan to a breathtaking plateau at a height of almost 1700m panoramic view from above a cliff, Darbat' for a relaxing stroll along the Wadi bed, surrounded by herds of Camels, Goats & Cattle. In the Khareef season (monsoon period), numerous lakes & lush green Vegetation. One of the world's largest Sink Holes (211 m deep & 150 m in dia meter), situated at TawiAttair – also known as the "Well of Birds", who frequent this location, the year through. the vast 'Qara' mountain range to the other. Wecontinue our journey from the plateau into the adjacent 'Qara' mountain range & drive through scenic Jebali villages & landscape and Baobab Trees.On the way back to Salalah you visit Wadi Darbat, the wadi is the most beautiful and spectacular place in Salalah for the mountain and spring lovers. By evening 5 pm end of the tour and back to service apartment for overnight
Day 5: Half day city tour & Departure
After breakfast drive to Salalah City, the second largest city in the Sultanate of Oman, and the birthplace of the current sultan, Qaboos bin Said. Visit important archaeological and historical site of Al-Baleed that displays exhibits illustrating the Region's and history.The Museum of the Frankincense Land" at Al Balid, passing by the bird sanctuary. One hall depicting the Frankincense Trail History of the Sultanate, along with many audio/video presentations of the Omani Renaissance since 1970, fascinates the visitor to this site. Later on you will make photo stops at the impressive Shanfari Mosque and later at Al Husn Palace (Palace of the Sultan). Stroll through the old HaffahSouq, famous for Dhofari traditional.By afternoon 1 pm end of the tour and transfer to airport.
